On today’s cryptic and crime-ridden installment, Tom and Jenny are finally getting around to tackling America’s preeminent case of a serial killer who has never been caught: The Zodiac. Beginning in the mid to late 1960s, California was gripped in fear of the hooded gunman who largely targeted couples in their cars and ruthlessly shot them to death before sending taunting and coded letters to police and newspapers. Who was he, how many people did he actually kill, and will he ever be apprehended? Dig out your decoder rings and tune in for a discussion of the classic study in true crime that is episode 109.
